Our Cub Pack
Formed in 1914 our Cub pack is one of the oldest in the country, Cub Scouts are made up of 8 to 10½ year old girls and boys.
Cubs Scouts learn skills that aid their personal development such as teamwork, problem solving and responsibility through a programme of activities which engage and challenge them, they can get involved in cooking, crafts, sports, camping and many more to gain their badges and should have earned their Chief Scout Silver Award by the time they move on to the Scout Troop.
Cubs meet on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
The Cub uniform is dark green sweatshirt and navy blue activity trousers, dark socks, black school shoes and they will need a Cub badge book.
Uniforms can be bought at the Scout Shop in the District Headquarters Hall, Langdon Road, Bromley. Open on Saturdays from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. during term times.
The cubs will return from their Summer break on the 5th September.
A few weeks ago the cubs started their DIY badges and so they had a go at cutting wood with a saw and some had a go at drilling a hole in the wood. We are making birdboxes.
