3rd Bromley Scout Group – starting young people on a lifetime of adventure
As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life.
We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more.
Each week, we give young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience – skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.
We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always.
We’re a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

We always need help, if you would like to volunteer in any capacity please use the form, bottom right, to contact the Group Leader.
We have been instructed by Bromley District Scouts to suspend all Beaver, Cub and Scout meetings until further notice due to the current coronavirus situation.
We will be having a Scout Survival Camp on 4-5th April. the deadline for letting us know whether Scouts want to go to the camp is next Friday (13th March).
Recently we were lucky enough to be able to invest two new leaders, Korak who is helping out with the Scouts and Heather is working with the Beavers. Congratulations to both of them on becoming members of the best Scout troop in Bromley!
Sadly, our Akela, Lilian Butler, passed away November 2018. Lilian had been with the group for 43 years, and will be very sorely missed. In her memory, we now have a new trophy – The Lilian Butler Cub Sheild – which will be awarded to the Cub which shows most effort.
This first year, the Lilian Butler Cub Sheild was awarded to Ruby, who has made so much effort with badges and really done her best to be the best Cub she can be. Well done Ruby!
